Delete your Orbit account

You can request deletion of your Orbit app account and associated personal data here, including if you have uninstalled the app.
Request deletion by email
- Email support@oorbit.in with the subject “Orbit account deletion”, preferably from the email linked to your Orbit account.
- Include your Orbit account email and, if known, your username. If you cannot access the linked email, tell support so we can help verify ownership.
- Send the message. Support will verify ownership and confirm when deletion is scheduled and the expected deletion date.
The button opens an email draft; send it to submit your request. You can also use any email service to write directly to support@oorbit.in.
Request deletion in the app
Open your profile, open Settings, select Delete Account, then confirm Delete My Account. Orbit will show the scheduled deletion date.
What happens next
Once deletion is scheduled, your account has a 30-day grace period. Logging back in during that period cancels deletion. If you want deletion to proceed, avoid signing back in; contact support by email about the request instead.
After the grace period, scheduled cleanup removes your app account and associated personal data, including profile information, saved location, memberships and messages, subject to the retained records below. Authentication and media cleanup may finish separately from account removal.
Records that may remain
Payment, invoice, tax, refund, settlement and related evidence may be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve associated claims. Retention depends on the record and obligation; contact support for details about your records.
A minimal deletion record is retained to prevent an old sign-in session from recreating your account. Vibes resolved reports and moderation audit entries are retained for 90 days; open reports and pending reviews remain until resolved. Copies downloaded by others and content preserved in their replies may remain.

Only joined the waitlist?
The website waitlist does not create an Orbit app account. To remove your waitlist email, email support@oorbit.in with the subject “Orbit waitlist removal” and the email you used to sign up.
