Raise a complaint
- Email support@oorbit.in with the subject “Orbit grievance”. For an urgent content complaint, use “Urgent content complaint”.
- Describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking. Include your account email if you have an account, relevant booking or payment references, or the profile, message or photo identifier needed to locate reported content. You can also complain on behalf of an affected person; explain your authority to do so.
- We acknowledge the complaint, provide a reference for consumer complaints and communicate the outcome by email. Reply in the same email thread with the reference to ask for an update or review.
You can contact the grievance officer without an Orbit account or reinstalling the app. Provide only information needed to investigate the complaint.
Complaint response times
- Bookings, payments and consumer complaints: acknowledgement within 48 hours and redress within one month of receipt.
- Privacy and personal-information grievances: redress as promptly as possible and within one month of receipt, subject to any shorter applicable deadline.
- Complaints under the intermediary rules, including user content: acknowledgement within 24 hours and resolution within seven days of receipt, with the faster deadlines below applying to qualifying removal requests.
If more than one deadline applies, we follow the shorter applicable period. These complaint-handling periods are separate from the account-deletion grace period and any bank or payment-provider refund processing.
Urgent content complaints
For a qualifying complaint from an affected person or their representative about content showing private areas, nudity or sexual acts, or impersonation including morphed images, we take reasonable and practicable measures to remove or block access within two hours of receipt.
Other content-removal requests covered by the expedited intermediary-rule provisions are resolved as quickly as possible and within 36 hours of reporting. Please identify the content and explain the concern so we can locate and assess it.
Review and external remedies
If you disagree with our response, reply to the grievance email and explain what you want reviewed. This does not restrict your right to use a statutory remedy.
For consumer disputes, you can approach the National Consumer Helpline or the appropriate consumer commission. For eligible appeals about an intermediary grievance decision or failure to resolve a complaint in time, see the Grievance Appellate Committee for the procedure and applicable filing deadlines.
